2 Timothy 2:15 says: "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth". The verse encourages diligent study and accurate teaching of the Scriptures to please God, rather than engaging in pointless arguments.

Our mission

Faithfully Adorned Church exists to honor God through diligent study of His Word, sincere worship, and humble service to others. We strive to present ourselves to God as workers approved — not through self-righteousness or outward appearance, but through hearts transformed by grace.
We believe that we are all God’s children, created in His image, equally loved, and called to reflect His truth with compassion and humility. Our aim is to live unashamed before the Lord — seeking His approval, not man’s, and allowing His Word to guide our actions, speech, and spirit.

Purpose and Core Beliefs

At Faithfully Adorned, we are reminded that true faith is not about appearing holy, but about walking humbly with our God and showing His love to others.

As 2 Timothy 2:15 teaches, we “do our best to present ourselves to God as one approved… who correctly handles the word of truth.” Yet, we hold tightly to the companion truth of Matthew 7:1-2 — “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.”

We are not called to act as judge or jury, but to walk as children of the same Father, united by His mercy and truth.

Therefore, we seek to:

  • Study with Humility: Approach Scripture as learners, not authorities, allowing the Spirit to shape our hearts and actions. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

  • Love Without Judgment: Extend grace freely, remembering that judgment belongs to God alone. (James 4:11-12)
  • Live as God’s Children: Treat every person with dignity and compassion, as brothers and sisters in Christ. (Galatians 3:26-28)
  • Serve with Integrity: Offer our best in every act of worship and service, not to impress others, but to glorify God. (Colossians 3:23)

Walk in Justice and Mercy: Strive to “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God.” (Micah 6:8)
